Here are some of our Frequently Asked Questions
Do you all do background checks?
Each Firearm weather you brought it from Virginia Tactical, a 3rd party site, gun shows or your friend. All firearm transfers require a background check.
What do I need to make a purchase?
You will need a valid state ID. (drivers license or state identification card).
Can I purchase from you all even if I live outside or Virginia?
Yes you can. We will ship to your FFL dealer of your choice. Just select shipping at check out. One of us will reach out to you for that dealers contact information.
Do you all have Concealed Carry Classes?
Yes! Please check out our COURSES tab to see what classes are available.
How old do you have to be to purchase a firearm?
18+ years old for a long gun (Shotgun or Rifle)
21+ years old for a pistol
Can I buy now and pay later?
We do offer Sezzle in store and online.
Do you have warranties on your products?
All warranties are governed by the manufacturer and not by Virginia Tactical Shooting Academy.
Do you all have private classes?
We can host a private class on your scheduled time. Send us an email at va.tactical.llc@gmail.com. Send us at least 3 solid dates and what type of class you are looking for and we will get back with you in a timely manner and add you/party to the schedule.
Just about all firearms we can special order. It will be a 2 business day turn around if ordered before the afternoon and before the weekend. You are required to pay for the firearm. Taxes and transfer fee is due at the time of background and pick up.
If you don't have what I'm looking for in-store can you order it?
We will give you a call when your firearm is ready for pick-up.
